Nicole Caridad Ralston is the foodie behind Off the Eaten Path NOLA, @eatenpathnola on Instagram. She started sharing her food adventures when she moved to New Orleans in the summer of 2012 on Tumblr. She also used to write for Invade NOLA a local blog and book, but in the spring of 2016 she transferred her content to Instagram and @eatenpathnola has taken off ever since!

Nicole loves New Orleans primarily for its food scene and Caribbean vibes (her family is from Cuba, and something about NOLA feels like home). When she’s not eating food, writing about food, taking photos of food, or talking about food, she’s working at Tulane teaching and developing community engagement, service, and social justice leadership programs.
