Resources

Welcome to my resources page! Here you can find all of the products, services, and companies that I love. I’ve broken down the items in a couple of different categories to help you figure out what resources you are looking for.

Some of these products have already been discussed on my blog, and some will be featured in the future! Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, or sign up for whatever program suits your needs.

This post contains affiliate links (ads), which means that if you click on one of the product links, I’ll receive some $$$ to keep this blog running.

Travel Resources

Priority Pass – I cannot go anywhere without my Priority Pass, there is just something about visiting a lounge and being able to relax instead of stress out that makes this resource so great. Right now you can Save up to 25% on Priority Pass airport lounge access.

Lonely Planet – I love using Lonely Planet’s website, ebooks, and books as research for finding out what to do at my next vacation destination. I am a part of the Lonely Planet Pathfinders group which means I reach out and assist other travelers on the message boards to assist with their planning and answering questions. I also promote my blog on the message board to help drive traffic. Click here to learn more about their products.

Hotels

IHG – I’ve always traveled with IHG. Back in the day, my paw-paw would tell me that he loved to stay at the Holiday Inn and that love for the hotel group is something that I still carry. I adore this hotel group so much that I even have the IHG Credit card and use it to get my free night each year! Click here to learn more about booking.

Planning ahead has it's perks. Book early and members save 15% or more!

Radisson Blu – Even though I’ve only stayed at the Radisson Blu connected to the Mall of America (click here to read!) I fell in love with this brand. With airport to hotel pick up, nice staff, a great rewards program. What is not to like?

Blogging Apps

BlueHost – Plaid Shirt Yoga Pants is hosted on Bluehost. Why? Because they make it incredibly easy to get a new site up and running with their one-click automatic WordPress Blog installation (which is what I also used!). At $3.49 per month, this is a steal because Bluehost has excellent customer service and I haven’t had an issue since my first blog post.

Tailwind– Tailwind is a great app to help boost your Pinterest presence. It allows you to schedule your Pinterest pins days, weeks, even months ahead of time! I love looking at the analytics via Tailwind to see what is working and what isn’t.

WP Tasty – Speaking of Pinterest…do you want to know how I have hidden pins on my website? Well, I use a little wonderful WordPress plugin called Tasty Pins! I love this plugin because I am able to add additional hidden Pinterest text in my images so that I do not mess up my SEO and Alt Text. This tool is amazing. WP Tasty has other products that are great including Tasty Links – a tool to Autolink keywords to maximize affiliate revenue, Tasty Recipes – a powerful recipe plugin for WordPress blogs.

Grammarly – I used the premium version of Grammarly on all of my blog posts, social media posts, and even emails! I signed up for the one year plan which comes to $11.66 a month but is billed as one payment of $139.95. There are other options to sign up which are the monthly $29.95 and quarterly $19.98 plans. This app comes in handy in my blogging life and everyday life – click here to sign up for Grammarly.

The #1 Writing Tool

Awin – is one of my favorite affiliate programs. Their interface is very easy to use, and they work with a variety of brands worldwide including LonelyPlanet.com Awin asks for a $5 deposit to sign up, but you receive that back in its entirety with your first payment!

Share a Sale – is another of my favorite affiliate programs. They’ve connected me to brands like GrammarlyTailwind, and Spanx!
