Our first day at a port was the port of Naples-Pompeii. We were so excited to book the entire cruise because of this port. Ever since my family visited a museum in Los Angeles that had artifacts and casks from Pompeii. Once we saw the ruins, we knew that we just had to get to Pompeii and explore the city.
Our family went on a 7 Day Disney Cruise on the Mediterranean which left Barcelona and where we were able to visit Pompeii, Rome, Florence, and Nice. But before we could knock a few countries off of our bucket list, we had a coveted Sea Day which was much needed due to our full Three Day Sightseeing trip in Barcelona. Sea Days are my favorite because it is the only time my family is able to relax and fully enjoy the actual Cruise Ship.
Disney Cruises are something my family recently discovered. We had never cruised before our 7-night cruise to Alaska, and while we were on board, we booked another cruise from May 26-June 2 to sail the Mediterranean and explore Pompeii, Rome, Florence, and Nice. After spending 3 nights in Barcelona and 7 nights on the Disney Magic, we fell in love with all of the cultures in Europe and cannot wait to go through our trip report.

The final day of the cruise was an interesting one. After four days full of excursions at Endicott, Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, we finally had some downtime to enjoy the ship on our own. We were a little exhausted from my days full of activities, so this Sunday at Sea was a more relaxing one.
Ketchikan was the last port of call until the long sail back to Vancouver. We were also in port from 11:15 am until 7:45 pm, so it was a different vibe and feel for excursion day. I had decided to purchase tickets online through a third party to visit Misty Fjords National Monument, so it was the first time that we were actually on our own.
