Taking a Disney Alaskan Cruise is a trip of a lifetime! There are so many different items to pack for an Alaskan Cruise, and Disney Cruise Line is a different beast when it comes to cruising Alaska.
Our last day on the Disney Magic was a Sea Day which is always a great way to end a cruise. If you didn’t have time to relax during the cruise, this day you can take to relax and ensure that your bag is packed – which is basically what we did!
On our fourth and final excursion day, the Disney Magic left Italy and headed towards France! I was very excited to spend some time in Nice and Monaco and couldn’t wait to get back to sightseeing and exploring another country (well technically two!).
The fifth day of our Disney Cruise and our vacation was more than halfway over. It was time to explore our last port in Italy – Livorno to see Florence and Pisa. Tackling a museum, two cities, and some famous sights in one day were on our to-do list.
The next day the Disney Magic docked at Civitavecchia, the port 44 miles outside of Rome. I was excited to visit the Eternal City because there is so much history and so many things to do in the area. Since one day is not enough to tackle Rome, we booked another private excursion with Italy Tours to try to fit everything in.
Our first day at a port was the port of Naples-Pompeii. We were so excited to book the entire cruise because of this port. Ever since my family visited a museum in Los Angeles that had artifacts and casks from Pompeii. Once we saw the ruins, we knew that we just had to get to Pompeii and explore the city.
