Guest Blogging Opportunities
Have you ever wanted to break into blogging but not sure if it was for you? Looking for a place to be a guest blogger?
I am more than happy to do a guest promotion swap on plaidshirtyogapants.com, but there are a couple of ground rules first. (If you are looking for Work With Me Opportunities, please visit that page).
Please submit your travel related pitch to Mallory@plaidshirtyogapants.com with the subject “Plaid Shirt Yoga Pants travel writing pitch.”
Topics must be travel related including but not limited to:
- Trip Reports
- Travel Fashion
- Tips and Tricks
- How-tos
- Itineraries
- Foodie reports
During guest-posting, bloggers will provide their own copy (that went through a spellchecker such as Grammarly.com) of at least 1,200 words, 2-3 relevant photos (taken by the guest poster – watermark permitted, no open source photos allowed), an author’s bio, and author’s photograph. The article must be free of plagiarism and can never be published elsewhere. Both parties will promote the guest post on all active social media outlets.
This is a non-paying gig.
Plaid Shirt Yoga Pants has the right to refuse any guest posts that are not up to the travel blog’s writing style. If this were to happen, the guest writer can publish the article elsewhere.
Guests posts will publish on Plaid Shirt Yoga Pants on Tuesdays.
